A seguito dell’iniziativa del Governo Italiano di trasformare il disegno di legge DDL 1236, in seconda lettura al senato, in un decreto d’urgenza, il popolo della rete No DDLSicurezza – A pieno Regime ha indetto presidi e manifestazioni in molte piazze italiane.La rete In Difesa Di ha partecipato con la sua voce e la sua testimonianza al fianco delle persone difensore dei diritti umani ed ambientali sotto minaccia nel mondo.
Humans Right Defenders e Environmental Rights Defenders che sono attacco anche in Italia, a causa delle iniziative legislative e della stretta repressiva contro chi dissente, manifesta e combatte contro la crisi climatica , che il Goverbo Meloni sta violentemente mettendo in atto.
Come rete IDD, abbiamo dunque inviato un comunicato stampa a tutte le reti internazionali che ci supportano e con le quali siamo in connessione in Europa e nel mondo.

Yesterday we gathered to mobilize in many places throughout the country: social and political groupings, students and unions, associations and movements for climate justice. Events were held in Naples, Bologna, Rome, Trento, Treviso and Salerno. Today in Milan a widespread mobilization, with convergence at 18.00 in piazza San Babila will take place.
In Rome the presidium at the Pantheon square, attended by several thousands, turned into a spontaneous march that, despite anti-riot police repression, did not stop.
Yesterday’s events provide evidence that any acceleration of anti-democratic processes will not be passively accepted by a “pacified” and unarmed country, but rather, we are ready to respond taking to the streets,and mobilizing in places of knowledge and production.
The right-wing wants to scare us. Our response will be to call for a national demonstration against this decree.
It is not the time to surrender, it is not the time to return home, it is not the time of resignation. It is the time to fight for the freedoms of all.
